EXCEPTIONAL CONSIGNMENTS?
It happens quite often that samples, specimens or promotional material have to be sent abroad, but they do not exist as SD® documents. Such deliveries can be created quickly and easily in the Delivery Store. Documents and messages can then be completed in a very fast way.
The Delivery Store encompasses all deliveries not yet assigned to a consignment.
These deliveries are assigned to existing consignments or new consignments are formed. Both processes are carried out manually or automatically according to definable rules.
Cost savings through consolidation.
Another cost-saving measure is the option of consolidating multiple deliveries to one consignee into one “consignment document.” This consolidation can be launched manually or run automatically according to a definable rules set. Many export formalities such as forms are then required only once per consignment instead of for each individual delivery. This significantly reduces paperwork, accelerates processes and saves freight costs.
