Export management with a system

ATC :: ATLAS Export features three components that together ensure nearly complete automation of the customs process: The Collector gathers the data, the Monitor enables control, and the Agent offers the option of complete automation of the export process to the printing of the shipping document.

The Collector: reliable data gatherer

The Collector is responsible for gathering the required export data in ATC :: ATLAS Export. It uses the paper-based export declaration as a reference in gathering the relevant data from the standard SAP® tables (prices, weights, commodity codes, etc.).   Other data that may be required, such as packaging information, can be gathered through user exits and business add-ins. Templates can be stored and later selected to facilitate repeat transactions (such as a recurring consignee) in ATC :: ATLAS Export. This significantly reduces the manual workload.

The Monitor: central control tool

The Monitor provides an overview of all export transactions. Distinct icons make it easy for the user to keep tabs on the status of an export.   Green = message sent to the customs office   Yellow = export declaration incomplete, user intervention required   Red = technical error, attention required   Intuitive icons indicate the arrival of the export shipping document and the endorsement of exit.   Convenient, concise, easy to use—ATC :: ATLAS Export supports users in managing their exports and enables immediate intervention in the case of errors.

The traffic light icon indicates whether any user action is required. A printer symbol announces the arrival of the export shipping document.

The Agent: a ready helmsman

The Agent is there for all those who prefer an automated process without the need for manual intervention. The ATC :: ATLAS Export Agent relieves you of the responsibility of monitoring and controlling the export process.   The Agent autonomously controls the ATLAS messaging and notifies you if any manual intervention is required of you. As soon as the export shipping document arrives, the default printer is activated and the document printed out. The Agent also regularly checks whether the export confirmation has arrived.     ATC :: ATLAS Export does a lot of things for you. But to ensure a smooth export process, it’s also important that your project team be prepared and well coordinated for the tasks ahead.
