Keeping tabs on your goods
Play it safe: goods receipt with Warehouse Management
Incoming goods need to be checked and properly registered even without a reference or shipping notification. ASSIST4 Warehouse Management supports the entire goods receipt process: from the posting of pallets and warehouse utilities to material and quantity checks, the handling of returns and optimal storage bin placement. Repackaging, palleting, labeling or QA checks may also be necessary. Whether on a traditional PC or mobile handheld, ASSIST4 Warehouse Management minimizes the effort while securing goods receipt in its various manifestations.
Inventory management made smart
ASSIST4 Warehouse Management lets you define inventory types without limitations. The various quantities are managed by location. You can even model the structure of packaging units contained in other packaging units—so-called handling units. Quantity cumulation at the individual warehouse structural levels is one more element in the overall transparency. Automated replenishment strategies can also be configured based on storage area, bin or material inventory parameters.
Always moving
ASSIST4 Warehouse Management lets you manage both batch numbers and serial numbers continuously across all processes, making it possible to consistently track each warehouse movement of a batch or individual serial number.
Clever reservations
Material requirements from order management or directly from deliveries are fulfilled according to different strategies. Configurable priority control ensures that even material bottlenecks are resolved optimally. Accrued items are rescheduled according to the default settings and material availability. Reservations are the basis for material flow control by transport request.
Push strategy or pull strategy: ASSIST4 Warehouse Management ensures intelligent picking
It doesn’t matter whether you prefer one-phase picking based on a resource-guided pull principle, two-phase picking in batch runs or picking optimized by zone, time or quantity. You can even employ a combination of the various strategies. Document-free picking is supported by applications for mobile recording devices in the same way forklift guidance systems are. ASSIST4 Despatch seamlessly integrates the subsequent process transition to packaging and loading.
