Poor control does not do you credit

A decision for the credit note procedure maintains cost control while reducing administrative expenses. Instead of checking the invoices of your service providers for accuracy, you calculate the transport costs you have incurred yourself using ASSIST4 Freight and issue a credit note to your service provider.

ASSIST4 Freight makes it much simpler to check freight cost invoices. Using the credit note procedure is more efficient still, however. A credit note is created with the help of ASSIST4 Freight for a defined billing period. This credit note is then transmitted to the forwarder, who is responsible for checking whether the credit note matches the services rendered.

Issuing credit notes means less administrative outlay

Using the credit note procedure reduces your outlay. The forwarder also benefits: If he offers a data processing option, the credit notes can be provided to him electronically so that he, too, has less administrative outlay.

Information automatically arrives at the correct cost center

The use of ASSIST4 Freight is also profitable for internal cost control. Transport costs can automatically be posted to the correct cost centers, and the data for every credit note is automatically forwarded to the accounts department. This ensures a constant overview of the cost distribution to the individual company divisions.
