export licenses including data about their usage in the physical goods
shipment process and in technology transfers.
Key features include
- All relevant data for OGELs, OIELs and SIELs can be stored in the
ASSIST4 system. - Export licenses can be assigned to shipment items thereby ensuring
that the export license data is automatically displayed on relevant
Customs, commercial and other documentation. - SIELs are automatically decremented on value and quantity as they are
used in shipments. - Restrictions of export license usage according to consignees, countries,
products, etc. - Handling of temporary licenses (due/actual date of returns, etc.)
Scanned copies of the export license can be attached to the record
within the ASSIST4 system, thus ensuring that the full terms and
conditions can be read by all system users. - Handling of additional license types such as trade control licenses
Link from the license record to Associated MOD clearances (if
applicable). - Copy and paste functionality from ASSIST4 to allow easy creation of
management reports via, for example, Microsoft Excel. - Administrator-configurable warnings that notify system users of
upcoming license expiries and depletions. - Recording of consignee and end-use undertaking data.
